Transforming Africa through Technology

Pan-African Tech Foundation (PATF)

Advocating for Africans to come to the table to build solidarity on global developments in technology as Africans with an agenda for Africa. - Elaine Bannerman -Founder

PATF is an independent, not-for-profit, non-governmental organization established to provide education, legal, regulatory, and technological support in establishing and implementing emerging technologies and digital transformation in Africa.

PATF focuses on harnessing Africa's talent, in particular that of young Africans, by nurturing an environment of idea generation, innovation, and creativity to bring novel technological solutions to market and contribution to Africa's sustainable development.

PATF adopts a holistic approach by bringing together a highly experienced multidisciplinary team of critical experts to meet its objectives and support African governments' technological developmental agenda.

PATF further supports the African Union's Digital Transformation Strategy for Africa (2020-2030)

PATF's solutions have the potential for adoption and acceleration across the continent as digital transformation is inevitable and indeed required in all African countries.  Involving Africa’s youth in digital transformation and governmental support for innovation is required to achieve sustainable development (in particular, UN SDGs 8 - Promote sustained, inclusive and sustainable economic growth, full and productive employment and decent work for all - and SDG 9 - Build resilient infrastructure, promote inclusive and sustainable industrialization and foster innovation).
